Our Goal
At The Healing Place we strive to provide a safe, open environment for children and families to receive grief support and education. We do this in many ways and always seek to tailor our services to the needs of our families.

We currently have 7 service areas, some of which you will see outlined in the above reports. These areas include: Healing Hearts In School Program, Grief Support Groups (In Office), Crisis Intervention, Community Training, Individual Support/Education, Community Resource Center, and being a Student Training Site.

Grief Support for All
The Healing Place is committed to ensuring that our grief support resources are accessible, welcoming, and relevant to all members of our community. The Healing Place does not discriminate based on characteristics such as race, gender, national origin, citizenship, ethnicity, culture, disability, age, creed, religion, economic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, and all other identities represented in our diverse community. The Healing Place acknowledges that grief does not exist in a vacuum untouched by cultural and societal influence, and that marginalized communities are often disproportionately impacted by grief. Our goal is to provide a safe place for all children and families who are grieving a death, with increased recognition of societal, cultural, and historical factors that may impact grief and success to services.
